Katiba Leadership Academy and Secondary School (KLASS), Uganda
Katiba Leadership Academy and Secondary School is registered in Uganda, and serves as an educational hub focused on nurturing exceptional leaders among Uganda’s youth. Our mission is to foster the development of critical thinking, ethical leadership, and social responsibility, providing students with a solid academic foundation and the tools to become transformative leaders in their communities.
KLASS was founded with the belief that true leadership is cultivated from early adolescence, combining intellectual growth with practical leadership skills, social responsibility, and a deep understanding of global issues.
Our focus is a pioneering educational institution focused on developing a new generation of leaders equipped with the academic knowledge, leadership skills, and ethical values to positively impact society.
Goal
We aim to provide high-quality education that blends academic rigor with practical leadership training, community engagement, and character development.
KLASS combines formal secondary education with a unique leadership and constitutionalism program, ensuring students graduate as both academically competent and civically responsible leaders
Objectives
Provide access to quality secondary education for 500 students (50% girls) over 5 years
Offer an inclusive, accessible and high-quality education, with scholarships for girls and children from disadvantaged backgrounds
Promote STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics, for specialized skills to drive innovation and development.
Establish mentorship and alumni networks to sustain leadership beyond school, and continue the constitutional work under Hope Initiative Programs in Universities
Promote E- Learning and digital education for today’s inter connected and technology driven world
Promote girl child education and awareness about importance of quality education.
